Flow Robotics has appointed Kim Christiansen as the new CEO

Published:

Today the Board of Directors at Flow Robotics has appointed Kim Christiansen as the new CEO of Flow Robotics. Kim has been CEO at Mikkelsen Electronics for the past six years and succeeds Annika Isaksson with the aim of unlocking the company’s international commercial potential.

During her time at Flow Robotics, Annika Isaksson, together with our skilled employees, has built up production and streamlined the robot development. However, the post-corona market has changed, and it requires a different commercial experience to adjust the company and address the new dynamics needed to unlock Flow Robotics’ commercial potential.

Kim Christiansen comes to Flow Robotics with a heavy commercial mindset. At both Mikkelsen Electronics and Ellipse, where he worked for three years, Kim Christiansen built a commercial foundation with sales- and organization strategies and grew significantly in terms of both revenue and headcount. This is the same task he will take on at Flow Robotics in close collaboration with our CCO, Richard Patterson.

“We are delighted that Kim Christiansen has agreed to take on the role of CEO and develop our growth strategy together with Richard Patterson. Kim has a solid commercial track record and we are confident that he is the right man to unlock the international commercial potential of the company, because despite a challenging 2022, the potential for Flow Robotics’ unique pipetting robot is huge and we believe that sales will take off in the second half of 2023.
