Streamline qPCR set-up with the flowbot® ONE

This application note explains how the flowbot® ONE was used to automate qPCR set-up prior to sample processing with a QuantStudio™ 5 Real-Time PCR system.

In the experiment, total genomic E. coli DNA was diluted to 7 different copy numbers for use as the reaction template. In addition, a no template control (NTC) was produced using PCR grade water in place of the DNA.

Specifically, a program was created in flowbot ONE’s drag and drop software to produce a master mix and dispense it into a 384 well PCR plate, before adding a DNA template.
