Simplify PCR setup with flowbot ONE

This experiment shows how the flowbot® ONE was used to automate a PCR set-up prior to amplification on a thermal cycler.

A program was created in the flowbot ONE software to produce a master mix and dispense it into a 96 well PCR plate.

The identical setup was performed manually to compare the time spent.

In the experiment, two independent master mixes were prepared using two different ready mixes from Quantabio:

• AccuStart II PCR ToughMix®
• AccuStartTM II GelTrackTM PCR SuperMix
